
Newcastle Law Centre is a registered charity established in 1978 to provide free legal advice and representation to people that are on low incomes, income support or facing discrimination.
We are a member of the Law Centre’s Federation and our Solicitors are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
The priority areas of work of the Law Centre reflect the need of the users and our policy to work against discrimination.

Advice is given by professional lawyers and legal advisers. Our advice and representation is free, confidential, impartial and independent.
We also give 2nd tier advice to other voluntary and statutory agencies and can provide training.

We are supported with funding from the Newcastle City Council (Newcastle Fund), Legal Services Commission (legal aid) and Equality and Human Rights Commission grant as well as individual donations.
Also the Social Enterprise Loan Fund were able to assist us with a loan with has helped us greatly.
